I agree with the theory behind it, just that the reality is quite against my morals.

But now that the crude prises have come down ...... there might be hope. Though i must say it has been good as i think it has cleared up the roads some.

I think Gull would be the place to go to fill these days as they are generaly "hiking" later then the big four and BP normaly leads the way

Don't be an ass and steal.

Wow, thats really suprising..... it must be becaurce the petrol that are at the pumps now was bought when the price was really high.... ehhhh hold on .... that reason didn't work when they put it up ..... must be just as they say then " you (we) do not understand the complexities of petrol prises" I think we should just accept the prices will remain high. I'm sure the petrol companies are really looking out for us in the long run. We trust them .... right guys ?

    Stealing is stealing.
I imagine with CCTV it's not hard for them to catch the thieves either.

I think its not on to steal either. It can't be hepling if petrol stations have to put their price up to compensate for people who don't pay for their gas.
The way people do it in cars is to get a spare set of number plates from an abandoned car, then put them on before they do a runner. After they've left the petrol station they put their real plates on and no one's the wiser. That way they can't be tracked down.

Go to Glen Innes g.a.s and you will be proved wrong even with the lower socio-economic general population (generalisation time..) they still don't have prepay. I was quite suprised to find this out.

Where is the nearest gull station to Meadowbank?

Dunno about gull - I've servo hopped 4 or 5 before finding one not on prepay over the rest of the eastern suburbs some nights - don't like it either - i don't know how much it will take before i fill it up ffs - but it's better than pushing the bike home.

gn1nitestnd now works at local servo, the other day a guy pulled up in a ute, filled it with deisel, then filled 4 44gallon drums on the back with 96. Fucked off without payn. the ute was stolen and his hat covered his face from cameras. he got away with over $300 of gas. Kinda makes me wish i was less honest!

    Drive offs as a PROTEST???

    FFS

If you have no morals I don't want to know you. Congratulations on lowering yourself to the lowest of the low.

If you can't afford the fuel, sell the vehicle you were thinking of putting it into. You're an idiot if you can't work that one out as an option.

If you can afford the fuel, you're an idiot for considering nicking the fuel and I, for one, would happily burn some of mine tracking you down because I don't enjoy scum sharing my otherwise pleasant society.

If you pay for fuel but don't enjoy the prices... deal with it. Complain, buy a vehicle that uses less or try public transport or cycling...

Not a big deal, and nor is it complex.

As someone said - theft is theft. I'll add to that thieves are scum.

Dont know if it is the same in NZ but petrol stations have to pay upfront for the fuel before the truck will leave the depot So its not hurting BP etc but rather the service station like vifferman said
