    Oh and OP, my 04 bike had 21k on it even I bought it this year... not anymore :-)

    Dood...on my K4 GSXR 600 I was commuting daily for work and it never missed a single beat! Had the thing for 5 years or so and it never once skipped a beat...even when I high sided it it still ran like a champ!

    Yeah, Suzukis don't like weekend riders. The more you ride them the more reliable they seem to be.
    Every time I have gone to a mechanic and said "she's fucked" about a Suzuki he has come back that I need to ride harder faster or longer.

    They just don't like sitting. Even a week at a time.

    Case in point my DR350. Both the times I have parked it up something else has failed while it was not being used.
