Was a 'friendly fire' incident. Cruiser following me didn't notice that I was turning into a side road.

Thankfully no human was hurt in the process.

You're guess is as good as mine. My indicators were on, but I assume they got distracted by the lead rider stopping on the side of the road before the turnoff to wave us in.

Ah well, it happened. No one got hurt and I actually got a bit of confidence in my gear out of it. So all good.
