Find your Stolen Bike FOR the Cops

    Hi Guys and Girls.
Thought that some of you might be interest in a technology update for motorbike gps tracking. a couple of freinds of mine have finished developing a online gps tracking service, and are bring out a smaller gps (about the size of a smoke packet) unit that would happily fit onto any motorcycle either wired into the bike battery or stand alone system. this will work just about anywhere in NZ.
They can be permant or removable.
buy once and move it from bike to bike.
they can also tell you how fast the vehile is moving (good for mums and Dads)

basically the system can be hit every 20 seconds or you can ping it when you want so you can find out where your bike has gone or if it has been stolen you can point the cops to within 3 houses

If you'd like any more info check out :

they have a email address onsite.

Very cool, I'm in the middle of making something very similar for my bike which costs about half that. So that's probably not too bad a price when you take all the labour costs and marketing into account.
Life is difficult because it is non-linear.

    I have one.
Theres two types, the real time tracking uses GPRS back to their servers or the other is for ocassional one off locations which uses GSM. For both systems you can look at their map on-line to see where the location is.
I get the real time tracking for $29.00 month The occasional one off location service is $10 + 50.c per location per month I think. I use the GPRS one so I can diary my trips.
