Geez Crim you're not going to the rugby (kick off) more like ride off although a slow ones as it will be on a trials bike but ok kick off will do, 10.30 for riders.

A lot of the sections are in the gully with trees so fairly sheltered as the weather doesn't look wonderful.

Not sure if there is any food vans so make sure you bring your play lunch

Only there for a little while - knew it was time to leave when the two boys started a pine cone fight, but great stuff - amazing what some of those buggers can get over, round, through without "dabbing"!

thanks for the heads up, loved it, next time I will take the bike and leave the kids at home (or take one of the boys)

Ah yes and there was plenty of pine cones too, yes the top riders are awesome to watch, it is a great spectator sport.

No worries it is so often you hear about it after the event.

Hey by the way, thanks for posting this up here where it's visible. I've wanted to check out a trials event for ages and wouldn't have known where to look if you hadn't posted this. Managed to get along and have a look, and a chat, and it was awesome! Cool to see so many people out of different ages etc riding living springs. Definitely want to make it to another event some time, might even have to save up for a bike myself.

Good stuff, yes the trials is great to watch, you only have to be remotely involved in mounting biking/ motor biking and you can appreciate the skills of the riders, and generally most of the sections are closer so spectating is easy, will definitely post events again.

I rode the nutbuster yesterday and it was spread out over 34km so unless you know of a particular spot to to go if was hard for spectating.
