Hi Wade, I have done a couple of 300 km single day rides over the last 2 weekends and shoulder is all good so far.

Will be doing the cape to cape ride of 1000 kms before the northland ride so the shoulder should be well up to it by then.

I heard a rumor that you are BMW mounted now, whats up with that ??. Are you joining the pipe and slippers brigade

I'm organised, found the fat pig lurking at the back of the garage, have vaquely off road-ish tyres fitted, what more do I need?
I'm riding up friday afternoon via various gravelly bits but am staying overnight at Snells beach, so will make Wellsford sat morning.

Im getting organized this weekend, with a service ( for the bike that is, not me ) and new rear tyre

Iain, what time were you thinking of leaving Auckland as I might ride the Gravel with you as far as Warkworth.

I probably wouldnt be up there till about 3.00pm, going to trailer the bike to brother in laws place at Whenuapai and then ride from there

Probably midday departure for us, I want to have a play on the way up and stop at Puhoi for a boasting session on the way, I'll let you know if the plans change!
