Lightbulb I need a bike sparkie

Can anyone recommend a boike sparky to come fix my faulty elektrikery?
I have a faulty earth/ground and its blowing my main fuse ( repeatedly )

I would appreciate some one coming to have a look at the weekend

    Cheers
    Duncan

Golly who are you. Just put a bent nail in there. That'll sort it.

Guess you live in Auckland. Only an Aucklander is arrogant enough to assume that's where everyone else lives.

Tip: auto sparkies love being told what the problem is.
Don't you look at my accountant.

Probably more likely a short ... not a faulty earth. If its happening repeatedly .... it should easily be found/seen. Look for cooked wiring. (might even be able to smell it)

The sarcasm as you deserved it. FJ is entirely right your issue is a short not a lack of earth. As a good friend of mine says. Listen to what people say. But don't listen to what people say.

so , north shore or westie?

That's going to be the cable going to the alternator. Its chaffed out onto the housing.

Try replacing the fuse. Turn the lights off and try again. Usually helps me .

You've been on site long enough to expect that ...

In Cuckoo land ... it's always noisy at midnight. (or mid day .. )

In reality (yeah ... I know this is KB) ... I can (could have) recommended a good sparky in Paradise ... works cheap ... but the travel costs to do the job might not be to your liking ...
