    b) BTW 4wd's make up around 12 to 14% of vehicles. Their occupant death rate is around 17% to 20% of fatalities.
    a) true but killing our selves is not what this thread is about but the behaviour of 4X4 DRIVERS

    b) I would have thought that the % of 4x4's on the rd would be much higher..... hang on I live on s/h1 Ill do a we testie thing over 10min's BRB

Hey Dangerous, sorry mate. That was not meant to sound like that. I'll edit the post.

OK... 10 bloody hard minutes just went by and heres the best I could do at keeping up with the count @ 2:10pm Belfast S/H1

    Cars............151
    Vans.............31
    Trucks...........26
    Dogs...............2
    pushies...........1
    Motorbikes.......0
    4X4...............67

Thats a lot of traffic in 10mins at the end of it all bout twice as many cars as 4x4's still thats a high 4x4 turnover per voloume..... I'm more worried about the lack of motor bikes out there
Anyway Lou... think thats more than 14% isent it?

I think LTNZ's registration figures are a tad more accurate. But, well done anyway. Is it as boring as counting sheep?
When bikers kill as many innocent road users as cages, I'll agree wholeheartedly.
    Speed doesn't kill people.
    Stupidity kills people.
