    Photographic Model

Went for a ride on Sunday through some of the local twisties and was progressing at a reasonable clip up a winding hill when i see a car just parked off the road with a couple of distressed looking people standing in the road waving me down. I come to a dignified stop and manage to park the bike in such a way that it doesn't take off down the hill without me and prepare to help the distressed motorists. Off with the helmet so I can hear them better ( english was not their first language ). " Take photo please. Lovely view " Yes they had stopped me so they could get someone to take their photo with a view of the Ruahines in the background. I was so stunned I did as asked and had no sooner got my helmet back on when there was a tap on my shoulder. This time they took photos of each other standing with the big Kiwi Biker and his powerful motorbike. I was still chuckling when I got to the Waterford for my obligatory Guinness.

I had something similar happen to me and postie when we were crusin around a couple of years ago.. both on 250s, nothing special.. We stopped near Mission bay to have a look at the view, when about 4 or 5 tourist from a bus load of peeps came over. Again, english wasn't the top thing they knew, but they asked for photos of us, so we obliged and even told them to jump on the bikes and take photos! They loved it. made us laugh all the way home

    kinda fun, isn't it?

A few years back I was riding round Days bay with a mate - pulled over to park the bike when a photographer and stunning young model stepped up and asked to have her photo taken with me and my bike. I was only too happy to oblige - I even let her sit on my bike.
Sniffed the seat when I got home.

Shoulda gone "Back a bit, a bit more, a bit more" Then jumped on the bike and pissed off with their expensive camera.

But then, wouldn't take much to hunt down a GB400.

    Sorry.
