Best place to go learn my dirt bike - Bay of Plenty.

Hey guys,

So I just bought a YZ250F as i fancy getting into a bit of trial riding. Super excited!, however I'm not sure where the best environment is to start off. Could anyone recommend anywhere round here so I can just ride around and get to know my bike before I go hitting any proper trials?. Also, does anybody know of some sort of list with all the trial rides in this particular area?.

Just jump in the deep end, the worst that will happen is you will get good at picking it up.

Maddix Park would also be worth a visit, not to sure how far along the TECT park is either,
