Christchurch n back not a copper to be seen

Very surprised today not coming across a copper from Oamaru to Christchurch and back what with the long weekend and the 4km over thing, wasnt even any around the Waimate area and the road was full of petrol heads on account of the street racing.Made for a great trip even with the endless straights, sat on around 135 ish and pretty much passed everything at will.

What I was thinking too, every time I've been down there have found them very shrewd at 'hiding' the camera vans although no tickets from down south for me.

Don't worry about any mail, travelled back from Akaroa on the 'Busa earlier this morning and 'stretched the legs' , so to speak . The road was clear all the way and through the Gebbies pass, they must be policing the main highways today, as they should.

The cops in Canterbury are pretty good in my opinion, it's the bad car drivers they're after today, just read there's a 15 km tailback at Otaki heading into Wellington holy moly ..

I went up the center from Cromwell and over Arthur's to Greymouth for the street racing.

    Back down the West coast.

Three marked patrol cars seen on the whole trip.

We came through there about midday on the way back from the BSTT and only had about 2-3km to deal with
