    Road Safety-Archives NZ

    It seems they had it all sussed out over 50 years ago, nice simple message.
    But holy hell the road toll at the time was 4000 people a year! And he says it without missing a beat.

    Not quite right. The road deaths for 1949 was 218 according to Ministry of Transport records. The narrator said road deaths and injuries totaled 4000 in the year.

    Now, name the cars...

    The two main cars look like Vauxhall (Wyvern, maybe) lots of US sourced cars in the general street shots
    it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.
