Dead easy. Just belt up and down the motorway flat out a few times. You'll get LOTS of real pretty blue lights. Some nice red ones, too.Originally Posted by Cibby Chick

Have you tried standing up on your pegs and doing the clutch dump? Once the front is up its just about having the balls and right wrist to keep the front high (but not too high)...My longest is only about 15 maybe even 20m at which time I decided to bring the front back down because it just about made me shit and piss myself.Originally Posted by tristank
But really 250s arent built to be wheelied!

Nah I haven't tried that.. only tried once clutch dumping at 9-10 or so from 10kmh while sitting. It acceled like nuts (most ever) and sat hard on the rear but didn't lift.. musta just not. I'm going to pull the fairings off and give it a decent go sometimeOriginally Posted by Rumble

You can do a raw power one if you load up the forks and time the rebound well enough, or do those sneaky ones where you swerve max each side then grab a hand full and tug you can get it up _okish_ still only way to do it properly is abit of clutching after awhile you find you dont need much clutch but yea. kittens.Originally Posted by tristank
Y'need to sorta throw your weight backwards and pull up on the bars as you drop the clutch. Sort of like you're actually trying to pull the front off the road.Prolly harder on a sprotbike cos y'can't actually get your weight far backOriginally Posted by tristank
But why bother? Doesn't make y'go any faster, just loses time. And is hard on clutch primary chain etc.

Fuck I'm pissed off.
My fucking arse $3500 ... I may have cracked the fairings in a couple of spots, but that's it !
He reckons he's taken the bike to Mt Eden MC's for a quote .. I'm trying to get them on the phone now.
FUCK !!!!
spoke to ricki at Mt Eden MC's
He tells me $3500 is for brand new everything.
and thinks he can restore to "pre me" condition for about $1000 ...
that still hurts, but its a shit load better.
now what?
advice?
Did the latter to mine. Not so much fun.Originally Posted by Cibby Chick
Don't bother man.... because you have a high chance of crashing something like that again... get it done when you resell it on etc. If it is only one side just get decals re-done if your paintjob is fine as it is. Or you end up loosing about 1k on some bikes when they get the average full/cheap one color respray.Originally Posted by TerminalAddict
