Is there any motorcycle mechanic school or college that foreigner can apply to in NZ?

hello bikers! imma Chinese and also a huge fun of motobike.

according to my heart, i really like to do the motocycle things as a job and work with some real bikers. but in China, almost in every big city, there are many policy limits that makes u cannot ride a bike totally legally (even u already got the licenses for bike and urself).

so, now im willing to be a motorcycle mechanic in NZ. i think this forum is the best place to talk about motocycle things in NZ. so i wanna get some information and help from here~
Is there any school has a major or a trainning course that can train me to become a qualified mechanic? and does the school accept foreign student?

    really appreciate~~

    Short answer ... NO.

An apprenticeship at a motorcycle outlet will be required.

Some places do run Pre-Apprenticeship courses that may help your chances at being offered such a position.

    Hello.

I am led to believe that the only motorcycle course is / was being offered in Wellington at WelTec Polytechnic.
    www.weltec.ac.nz

All educational providers will have a provision for overseas students like yourself, as well as domestic (kiwi) students.

There's a national certificate in automotive motorcycle engineering available here: https://mito.org.nz/automotive/autom...le-engineering

Might be a good place to start looking?

the collage provides some courses about automotive teck. but.. the course detail describe that "Fee: NZ $5,936 (2014) International N/A Course Related Cost: $750 (2014)"
does it means the course is not available for international students? i will send a email to check it.
