    Whats that helmet called?

At some stage I am thinking of upgrading my helmet... and I was talking to Sam about it last night, and I was trying to describe this one helmet that I read about on here sometime (Can't find the post now) and it has two visors... a clear one and a tinted one... so can have one down (clear) and the other up (tinted) or both down...

Does anyone know what this helmet brand is... where they sell them and for about how much?

*wouldn't mind a yellow tinted visor like that one guy on the ride this Sunday*
I'm not a complete idiot... some pieces are missing

It'll never be as easy as flicking the sunvisor up or down while mobile.

    Cool

    Or do what I do....

Put black duct tape across the top of the visor...
that stops the sun getting in your eyes...
oh and so much cheaper as well.

This may be completely the wrong helmet you are describing, but my friend on the Sunday ride (riding the 650 BMW) had a yellow helmet. His helmet has one normal visor which flicks up and down, plus a yellow visor on top of that which acts as a sun peak kinda thing!? Its kinda looks like a motorcross helmet crossed with a normal one.

I think it is the Nolan brand and he said there wasn't too many brought into the country. He got his from Counties Honda in Pukekohe.

I've got a spare lid which has two visors - one being a tinted flick down thingy. Maker of this one is Caberg . Not well known here - but big accross Europe.

I wouldn't go as far as recommending it though, as it's very noisy and quite heavy. But it's comfortable and practical.

Yeah his helmet looked so kewl (but only because the shiney yellow caught my eye and made me go "ohhhhh dats purdddyyyyy" lol

Thanks everyone for your tips and help with the links

On the ride on Sunday was the first time I've been on my bike with a clear visor (yah I know the risks of tinted visors), and I ALWAYS wear my sunnies, even on cloudy days, and the glare still gives me headaches... So after riding with the clear visor, I have noticed what a difference it makes (clear (good) vs tinted - not so good) but the clear on its own with my sunnies isn't enough... and I don't like the idea of carrying around my tinted visor to swap over and the such (plus my helmet is old and the bit where you screw the thingy (lol) to take the visor of and such is nearly munted after many failed past attempts to remove it).

*gonna give Lou a call and find out prices*
