Here I was sprinting to the thread because of the sexual connotation the title suggested.

Nice write up the mate, good to see that there is still hope for those who ride cruisers.
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods

That's one of the best reviews I've read man! Well done!!

It's specially good to read a sports bike review from a cruiser rider too.

    Thanks for that.

Now you understand what it's all about. All you have to do is tell all your other cruiser riding mates! LOL

naaaaah doesn't take MORE skill, just different skill.

I can emphathize a little...after a Virago for 10 years and now the Buell, hell yes they are different, but OMG they are great!!

    Brilliant writeup I must say...

I see there is, what sounds like a good upgrade coming for the VN800 next year. The VN900 features fuel injection & belt final drive. If I was after a cruiser, this sounds like the baby for me.

    Arrow Top post.

Great read this it was. To the dark side you say? I say welcome to the dark side! I liked riding the 636 also and it was my 2nd option when it came to buying a new bike. However the allure of the Honda CBR prooved too strong
Those who insist on perfect safety, don't have the balls to live in the real world.
