    NEEDED: Bike under $3000

I really want a bike, been 3weeks since I got my learners, I want a first bike. Got $3000 budget. Preferebly under 2000 - just incase I crash it. Needs to do 100km without too much fuss. As long as it is in good mechanical condition, and its worth the money, Im not too fussed on the type of bike.

Got all my gear sitting in my room screaming to be used.

    Cheers

    Albin.

forgot to mention - I prefer a naked bike for that reason. Sorry to hear man.

If its under $2000 i will consider a bike with fairings in good nick.

You can always take them off.

You will be very very very hard pressed if you are looking for something like that

    there are alot.

there are alot of 250s around for around the $3000. 3 weeks ago I had a very nice GPZ that would have suited you for $2500.

I dont like the FXR150s at all. Dont like the mountain bike tires that they have on them. I surpose if your going to stay in town it would be ok. Personal prefernce (as I just make an enemy of every fxr150 owner out there) There must be something about them cause there are a shitload of them around right now.

I think if you go ZXR/ZZR/CBR you won't outride it so quickly and more likely you will keep it till your licence runs out.

FXR150 usually in the low 2K's. GN250s are cheap , easily get one for <2K. Maybe an SR250.
