    I did say to my mate as it came off the trailer that it looked to me like a ty250, but the motor looked too small. didnt know they did a 175 as well. I reckon thats what it is. will get another pic up when I can be bothered setting the seat and tank on it to confirm.

    I just realised you even got the year right, how the fuck did you manage that?

    are these worth anything if they are running? it came as part of a bulk deal, so Im going to move it on sooner or later, but might try and see if I can make it run first -

    One of the most sort after twinshock machines...if you want a bike to do the job and are not just swept up into the Spanish/Italian thing. The best Japanese trials bike of the period, a better bike than the 250.

    sooo, worth trying to get it to run before flicking it off then?. I had heard of the ty250, but untill yesterday never knew of the 175. Ill throw a photo or two up shortly, showing the tank and seat it came with, Im not convinced they are the right ones, but I imagine a running engine / frame / wheels will be usefull to someone?
