    A100 or alternates?

I have an odd hankering to build a little 2 stroke café racer...

Google Itom for the sort of thing...

Or looking like the old 50cc GP bikes...

An A100 with the long tank could be ideal but the 4 speed box is a bit pedestrian really and they go for silly money... I do want to actually ride this thing on the street so no old MX bikes... What else would be affordable and common enough so parts can be obtained...

    any ideas?
