    Returning biker, saying hello

    Hi all!!

I've been lurking around here for a while and decided to finally register and say hello! I'm about a month back on two wheels, after almost 10 years of fear after my last accident. Needless to say, having an L plate on is fine by me if it makes other road users stay far away for a bit!

So, I've registered for the Pro Rider Bronze course - is there any other safety and handling training you folk would recommend? Professional training preferred, of course. From the sounds of it, there's a lot of monkeys that'll give me suicide instructions out there! While a Pro trainer may not necessarily give the "best" advice, at least their advice is more likely to keep the skin on my body... Right?

Anyway, look forward to chatting with you all!

    -- Cookie.

Check the Nass and Sass threads. Those rides are aimed right at you.

Chocolate fudge chip cookies - soft on the inside, crunchy at the edge?

    ...

Nah, I hate baking. I just love eating cookies.

Thanks for the warm welcome folks.

Hi and welcome to the nuthouse

Although if you've been hanging around here for a bit already, you must know by now what you're getting into, which means you're either very brave or very crazy, and will fit right in.

The Pro Rider people know what they are doing and I've heard good things about NASS and SASS.

It's awesome that you're getting back into riding after your accident. How do you like your little Inazuma? It was on my list when I was looking for a bike a while ago.

Well, I certainly learned a few tricks from taking a day course - pretty good confidence booster right before I booked my restricted test!

As for the little Inazuma, for me it's not so little size wise. Still gotta shift a cheek over a little to touch down comfortably but I can tiptoe balance it because it's quite nicely weighted. Much more than that... Well, we'll see once I've put more than 300k's on it!
