Best shipping option from Auckland to Wellington?

    Hi team

Just wondering who would be your recommendation to use a shipping company to ship a Yamaha Scorpio from Auckland to Wellington.
I have been quoted $295 from a trademe service provider, does anyone have any advice on who (not) to use?

    Kind regards,

    Carl.

    Good suggestion....
I might be looking at getting a bike from CHC in the new year...The price one way from AKL is $69! The only bugger is it is a late flight and I have to
get to the big smoke! Worth it though...

I recently used Motorcycle Movers Tirau to ship a bike from Auckland to Christchurch. They were the cheapest quote I got and charged no more for the extra boxes that came with the bike. They picked the bike up on a Sunday afternoon and it was at my door on the Wednesday. I wouldnt hesitate to use them again.

Same with BT I sent a box of parts no extra charge with one bike.

Don't count on the price staying low.

Last night, airfare to shakey town was $179 (inc bag) early flight Friday. Tonight it was more like $219

Yeah, didn't even mention that happy chestnut. Catching the 0610 flight (first flight and cheapest until night). Yesterday, $169 for a seat. Flight 40min later, $269. About an hour after that, $354.

But from yesterday to today, the $169 price went to $199

When a client flies me down to Shakey Town for a job, the day costs $700 in flights alone.
