They aren't exactly stockers either with all the top GSXR being overbored and closer to 1100cc (it's within the rules)
Do you think stroud, charlett, bernard, etc. are stupid enough to choose the slowest bikes to go and race?

LOL I'd rather be riding my GSX, than walking! (or wanking)
And that's all I have to say on the matter.

I don't think it would be the slowest bike with any of these guys on it,if it had the same level of development and backup that Suzuki have put into the GSXR1000.

Could Stroud win on a R1 or ZX10? I think he could!

Unfortunately for us no other manufactuer has put the same effort into any other team and that is why Suzuki has dominated for so long.

Sure, because we know in the old days he was a regular winner on Yamahas, he was US Formula Extreme Champion on Hondas and he won on the Britten.

What I still don't get though is how come Suzuki build fast street bikes, but they are failing big time in MotoGP? Or should they have made Rossi the best offer?

I think we are argueing to early about which is the best bike. Let the 04 models roll in. then it'll be fair.

No, Some tosser writes a load of crap about how suzuki's cant win anything and i point out some examples of things they're winning.
The examples are people riding and winning on suzukis, anything else is just speculation until someone gets on a bike and actually does it.

Interesting point merv, I read a really good article about it and the bottom line is that suzuki didn't put enough resources into it.Hence the private Rizzla and yoshimura suzukis were faster than Lavilla's factory bike in WSBK last year.
    Luv it!

Well if you want my opinion, i dont think we should get into the which bike is best thread if you are in suzuki's camp. Yes, maybe they do win in the NZ champs, but i dont think that is a very good indication of which bike is the best.

Maybe you want to look at the SBK and Supersport series. Both totally dominated by the Ducati 999's and the CBR 600 RR's. Also the MotoGP, which isnt the best indication of the road bikes but does say alot about the manufactures, honda and ducati was yet again the front runners, yamaha wasnt too bad aswell.

Where was suzuki in all of these aye???

Ahhh, the key word "remember". Shame about more recent times. Hopefully the new MotoGP bike will run better than last year's...

Yeah Kawasaki make great boat anchors and that's about it these days. Or that's about how fast their MotoGP bike was.
