    Alarm Installation

    Hi all

I was wondering if anyone out there would be happy to help me install an alarm on my bike. I brought the alarm off TradeMe so it's not a big flash expensive alarm, but will still do the job.

I have no electrical/wiring type experience, and the instructions on installation make no sense to me (plus the translation isn't that great).

If anyone is keen to help me out, I'll be happy to pay for gas (if you wanna come over to my place... but I have no tools) and also shout some beers or something

    Thanks in advance
I'm not a complete idiot... some pieces are missing

If you can find a wiring diagram I can probably help out on sunday some time. Even if you can't find the diagram, it shouldn't be too hard to track down the different feeds that it requires. Can you please post the manual to the alarm here?

    Regards
    Darcy

Is there any chance you could post a copy of that here please? For whoever ends up helping out it would certainly speed things up a lot!!!

Yep! If you could please scan the instructions that'd be great. Always helps to have a look in advance. You can email me at work if you want to arrange a time on Sunday... darcywatoscmar_dt_co_dt_nz

It should be on that CD I sent you..

    "15-electrical-system.pdf"

    page: 23 "Ignition System".

To anyone who does it, you will find that the wires are the wrong colors think its a year difference, but all you need is a multimeter and you can find what you want fairly easy...

The bike has a postitive igniter...

thanks for posting that John... yeah that CD you sent me... I don't have a comp at home and work has removed the CD players/burners from the PC's because someone was stealing data last year and selling it to our rival company... so I havn't even been able to look at the CD yet...

    Ok the Alarm is:

    Cyclone - Model C-9

As soon as our graphics chick gets in I'll ask her to scan the small instruction manuel and post it on here
