    XR400 and XR400r - Is there a difference?

    Can some kind soul please advise me if there is a difference between the XR400 and the XR400r motors and if so what these differences are-Cheers

    Thought they were all R's. Pretty sure only 2 models sold new in NZ both the same engine one just had the minimum equipment to make it comply for road it was the RX version.
    I had a RX model and intended to use it for the occasional adventure ride but I could never get around the shortcomings of the five speed box.
    Pull that swing arm pivot and get some grease in there.

    I'm pretty sure that all the XR400's were "R"s.
