    New Bike!

Hey guys, sold my Gixxer on friday, and just picked up a new bike... '91 Kawasaki ZXR250C

Again its not in tip top condition and needs some work...

Its Dereg, and needs an indicator, the front brakes need work, and the left handle is loose, needs a service badly, and its really difficult to start...

    Its only done 20,009kms
    DIC (i think) can

Im keen to get it underway but am too poor now! need a few hundreds for my fiji trip in november and I dont have a regular job!

    $1500.

If all goes well it will be a good deal, otherwise i should just break even selling it off as parts! (there are practically no zxr250c parts ANYWHERE!)

give me a PM, i've been down this road before. Its not hard an im pretty clued up on the ZXR now (i built one up from parts). I can help you with the superficial stuff (brakes and handle etc) might even be able to get it going nice too. Basically if its been sitting it needs to be ridden. My bike was the same... it ran shite for the first 1-2 weeks before clearing out and becoming a little rocket!

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

    Mint? Mint?!?
    Waddayarmean, "mint"?!?
Look, the man hisself said, "Again its not in tip top condition and needs some work... Its Dereg, and needs an indicator, the front brakes need work, and the left handle is loose, needs a service badly, and its really difficult to start..."

Mint = To all intents and purposes in the same condition as when it left the factory, as in a coin that's just been minted.

Or was it a typo? Didjamean "munt"? :spudwhat:

Anywaze, Rumble - congratumalations on the fantasmagorical semi-non-mint new ride.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

Unless Chris is short for Suney Cheung I dont think so...

I have now fixed all of the above plus got the tank lock to work, got it running...
    Indicator $10
Spark Plugs $50 (and thats COST!!!)

all that remains is: tach doesnt work... and I have to do something about the top fairing...
I think I will do it that new ZX6R Lime green with zx2r stickers... but not til xmas I really need to start concentrating on uni...

I met up with Rodders (first time ive met a KB'er) and hes going to plastic weld the front fairing for me

Now all I need is a Tachometer (after this one died....) and im sussed for compliance... SO IF YOU KNOW OF ONE!!!
