Any idea on when they will be available, got a mates who's money is burning his pocket something fearful, personally I would like a 2015 250sxf-fe, but no accounting for taste.

yep got my eye on it, unless i see a really nice ktm 300 before they hit nz.

theres one guy on the thumpertalk forums whos got his, but it's snowing where he is and he's put it away in a warm garage for three months

he took some pretty detailed pics and answered a few questions before he put it away. others in the states must be getting theirs soon so hopefully some user reports will start to appear.

latest kiwirider mag has a first review of the WR and someone posted an ozzie review from the yamaha release day on one of the thumpertalk threads. pretty positive reviews but I'd rather see user reviews after a few rides before i jump.

Seem like they would be a great do it all bike if the engine isn't too detuned from the MX bike.

guy just posted this on thumpertalk....

    > So a friend that's about 2 hours from me picked up his YZ250FX and put 1.5 hrs on it this weekend and hates the tranny said it's too gappy.

think i will wait till people have had it for a while.

p.s this review is pretty positive but doesn't sound like he's maybe totally sold on it: http://dirtbiketest.com/fresh-dirt/y...ng-impression/

p.p.s theres also these quick reviews http://www.dirtrider.com/features/vi...wr250fyz250fx/ and http://racerxonline.com/2014/12/15/r...-yz250fx-intro

I seen that Josh Coppins was only one second slower on the fx than the mx version on the Mx track
i also seen that they weigh 4-6 kg more than the yz250f, but it can obviously get around a track just as quick , i think i seen it on the Transmoto page .. all i can say is if i had $13,500 in my back pocket i would most likely empty it on the yz250fx in stead of the 250xcf, just for something different theres to much ktms on the trails these days
