You would be lucky if a curry muncher dairy is open let alone a bike shop.

Web search. Ones I've looked at are talking Monday.

As they should really - spend a few days with their families :-)

After all, unless you caught a fucker of a nail yesterday/today in the tyre it has been wearing out for thousands of kms bawahahahahahahaha

I take it you are in Waikari and after a road tyre?
The Challenge Service station at Culverden will be open and they have a selection of dirt bike tyres

It's ok, I should be JUST ok. It's crazy, you buy a tire with heaps of reviews saying it will last XYZ Km and you end up getting half of what you pay for. I am 99% sure it's the dodgy roads. We don't get those baby smooth ones like that section entering into Christchurch from up north before the 60 and after Kaiapoi.
    I miss Texas concrete roads.

Apparently south island roads are courser than north island roads.... Yet to find out for myself.

What tires have you got? On what bike? At what pressures? And how's the suspension?

tyre wear is also affected by the speed at which you travel and the tyre pressure

plastic fabricator/welder here if you need a hand ! will work for beer/bourbon/booze

come ride the southern roads www.southernrider.co.nz

Damn maybe that's why my rear is dead. I never checked the pressure for 1.5 months. I am such a pleb.
Was using the ContiMotion on the rear, BT023 on the front.
So far the conti has lasted 5500km. Online reports call for 12,000km or so. I guess a Z750 is pig fat.
I do go fast mind you...

Totally ignore ANY American site in respect to tyre wear - from the years I've been observing them the yanks 1. ride on super smooth roads, 2. don't have corners, 3. count the last 2000 kms past when any reasonable person would toss a tyre as part of it's life (as in I got 15,000 miles before the steel belts were visible .......).

Oh - and .5 mm is NOT legal and a good fat on a quick road on a hot day could kill that.

What size you running? Avon City Suzuki have good deals on Bridgestones in the larger bike sizes. Z750 running a 180 rear?
