    H2b

looking at the H2B on trademe got me thinking about the one I used to own., had a look around and found this photo hanging in my bike shed, ( beside the ones of my old TZ250 and TR500) Thought you guys might like to see it. I am being chased out of the hairpin at ruapuna circa 1981 by another H2Click image for larger version.

Oh dear, about 42 years ago !! loved my H2.
Sadly, the hair went west as well.

It seems anything running 500 / 750 starts at $10000 over here, hard to believe, still have the H2B and picked up two H2A's in the 1990's.
One I payed (iirc) around $1700 for and thought afterwards driving home that might have been $200 to much, seem to remember stopping on the way home for a packet of 'smokes (gave up in 2003) and also getting a Lotto Strike ticket.
    The ticket won over $700.

The H2B was a reasonable tourer but a little thirsty at times, Auckland to Kaitaia and back in seven fuel stops.
A mate on his CB900 Boulder did in 1 or 2 stops.

The two kids are most likely married with children now.
Mk1 Cortina's, Holden HR Sedan, Mazda was the 1800 cc ? , XW or XY Falcon station wagon.
