    Is it LAMS approved?

    Hey guys I was just wondering if the Honda CB250 Nighthawk is LAMS approved? Just that I was on the Nz transport page and it doesn't say its prohibited or approved

    Cb250. Yes. Its a 250.

    The 2 stroke 250s (aprilia rs250, honda nsr etc) are the disallowed 250s, everything else is fine

    Its very clear that any 250 not on the prohibited list is accepted.

    Prohibited bikes 250cc list.

    Aprilia RS250 (all models and variants) 250
    Honda NSR250 (all models and variants) 250
    Kawasaki KR1 (all models and variants including KR250) 250
    Suzuki RGV250 (all models and variants) 250
    Yamaha TZR250 (all models and variants) 250
    I have evolved as a KB member.Now nothing I say should be taken seriously.

    It is a gutless 4 stroke 250. One would hope it is approved.

    The 20hp 235cc twin... flat out top speed 130km/h... yeah that'll be a lams bike... hell some of the 125cc scooters are faster :-P

    I guess itd be a good way to learn tho, you have to learn good corner lines etc
