    Fuel Economy

What sort of litreage per 100kms are you getting

i just managed to squeeze 230kms out of 12 litres on the zx9r, that was with a few good squirts, a little one wheel action

My GSX250 Invader gets about 250-300 ks out of $15, so that's about 10 litres. Not sure of the math, but I think (on the 250), anything over 5c/km is not so great. Mind you I'm a fat f#*k so the poor thing is slogg'n it's guts out

TransAlp 650 19Ltr tank 365km and stops with MT tank. Normal riding. Is that good or bad? Checked it again today actually. Cheers John.

Started out at about 20km/L or 5L/100km but I'm fat and not even thinking about economy. Race off just about every set of lights

Can conservatively I should probably easily get 4.5L/100km. I've also noticed that my economy is slowly getting worse and worse as I get quicker and ride a little faster.

Open road 110km/h kills my economy and I get about 6L/100km.

If the prices keep on going up I might have to ride a little more smoothly

12l gas is good for 170km regular type riding or 90km track day.

I got 16.6 km/lt on the Southern Cross ride over nearly 4000 km with short-shifting and constant throttle settings. It's down to 10 or 12 km/lt if I'm out for a thrash.

90% of the time spent writing this post was spent thinking of something witty to say. It may have been wasted.

100miles per gallon or 30km per ltr.
