How do you react when you see people talking on their phone or texting whilst driving

I see it all too often, I am riding down the road and see someone swerving left and right, when we come up to light lo and behold! They are on a fking cell phone, I normally react by knocking on the window and telling them to loose the phone, and so far they do as i ask, but what about you guys and gals, what do you all do when you see these kind of idiots

Got a little... agressive... with a wing mirror of a guy on my way home from work this avo, changed lanes ontop of me, no looking, no reaction to my horn or a rev blast, jumped out of his skin and back into his lane when i hit his mirror. My camera had run out of room on the sd card :-(

I usually pull my left glove off with my teeth, ride with one hand on the right grip and text 555 with my left hand to report him.

Do we need a thread that's going to make us sound like gimp suit cyclists?

Start reacting and you create more that will *555 us every chance they get. We already know they have the device to do it.

i'd give you the finger and tell you to mind your own fucking business.

just because you're inept/ incapable of handling a vehicle and sending a text doesn't mean everyone else is.

*edit - i don't swerve all over the road..... unintentionally.

If in motion, I react by minding my own business and ensuring I don't create a hazard by interfering; if stationary I might pointedly look through their window but can't imagine that they'd exactly be shivering in their shoes because I did.

On the other hand if I could see they were texting and driving erratically/dangerously and it was convenient for me to pull over and *555 them I would; keeping myself safe is always my top priority so if there was no immediate opportunity to pull over I'd just keep as far away from them as possible and leave other motorists to do the same for themselves.

In Auckland it's pretty well impossible to get through your motoring day without witnessing multiple road offences. if you get het up over them all you'd end up with some sort of psychological impairment or stomach ulcer. No thanks.

You'd be getting the finger from me for your troubles and then I would *555 you with a made up story. If you get overtaken by someone who is exceeding the speed limit do you follow them until they pull over and then give them a lecture?

Either get a uniform or get fucked IMHO. No offense.

    I love people giving fingers....
always an advantage knowing the other parties intentions....

But if your driving standard doesn't go down while texting, it may have been substandard to begin with....?
