I had a great ride around the north Waikato, staying as far away from the various State Highways as possible. The photo is of Lake Waikare, but most of the roads in the area and on the other side of the river heading up to SH22 are great.

On the final night of my South Island road trip I stayed in Picton. The people in the unit next to me were on the piss and made a shit load of noise throughout the night. So in the morning I made sure I was as loud as possible to help out their hangovers. I went to take a picture of the bike outside the unit as I always do and at that point realise my "neighbours" were cops. Daaaam.
