On Good Friday I did go on a ride but took more photos than riding itself. Here is one shot I'd like to share.

If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.
Nice photo EJK I have sometimes thought about hanging out on the Rimutaka hill road taking some pics of the bikes going past... Or more correctly of conning my other half into spending the day there taking snaps of me![]()
That's the exact idea I got myself into a new hobby. I've always wanted a decent photo of myself but nobody is taking photos. So I just started one myself.

You have some excellent shots there. Nice page!
I often wondered if a dude with a camera might just freak people out, but you seem to get a good reaction from riders.
Might have to pursue this further...
Cheers! I'm just getting started and teaching myself around how to use a DSLR. I do wonder if taking photos on public road might freak people out but most people tends to wave or throw a peace sign. There was just one guy in a Porsche 997 gave me a "Shove ya camera up your ass" kinda look.

Waitakere Ranges, Pukematekeo Lookout. Nice view of Auckland, and a nice little ride...

Kinloch today, what a stunning place, more so than it was 30 years ago.
Went out again on the hill. Tried a different location and shot angle but wasn't too impressed.
