    Good ride photos thread

Seems on KB there's more rant than rides going on these days. So, if you've been on a decent ride recently post up a photo to share.

I'll start. It was scorching hot ride to Akaroa today (my outdoor weather station was reading 41 deg cel plus under direct sunlight).

I ride from Hams to Whitianga on a regular basis. Love the coro loop, great mix of terrain.

    Good ride photos thread

Recently done a loop ride on the Ole V2K starting from New Plymouth to Levin, meet up with a mate, then over to Ashurst. Back roads to Kimbolton over to Rangiwahia popping out just north of Mangaweka, down to Hunterville.

From Hunterville via turakina valley rd to Reids hill viewpoint where picy was taken for lunch. Into Whanganui out via brunswick road to bushy park on to sh3.

Sh3 using all back roads back to New plymouth, just over 750kms for the day, all done in glorious sunshine on sticky tarmac

Wednesday was pretty sweet too just up the hill:

Hard to capture it in a photo, but my bike is level. Wasn't there on purpose either Luck would have it there was a gap there.

First off of the day was right in a gorse bush though Got out a bit quick to be pictured in that one haha

Nice. Im not sure what it is but the older bmws look like a good option. Might work on the wifey and the camping thing. She wouldn't even get in a tent 2 years ago but shes starting to enjoy camping now and with the hard stance on speed limits some forgotten back roads and trail rides that wont bend laws become very attractive now.

I demand more rant! I suppose EJK wants me to dust my bike off and actually go ride somewhere and go take a picture of some bloody out of the way back-of-beyond place!

    Shan't do it.

If'n I'm riding out to those bits, last bloody thing I want to do is stop, get off bike, fumble with new fangled tech-whatsit-doo-hickeys and reverse procedure. Much better to keep riding, harumph!
