    hello

    G'day, alex here.
Just bought a gpx250 a week ago, been great exploring the suburbs on my new machine.

You all may know how dismal this akl weather has been, riding on the harbour bridge is a bit of a shocker, especially with that bloody wind battering you side to side.
I suppose its all part of the experience.

    Bring on summer

Might meet some of you akl members tomorrow, if the weather isn't too shite the ride to whangamata sounds good.

    See you around. :spudwave:

Nah, but when I was a young fellah, before I got my licence, I stole a mates one and broke into the Dunedin kart track at the bottom of 3 mile hill and thrashed the arse off it 'round the track all day. They are a good bike though, keep your oil changes up to date.

    Welcome.

Weather's weather. Same as always. Rain falls, it's wet.Always was. Wind blows. Always has.

    Tis all good fun.

Also, y'don't need a fuel gauge if there's a bit of wind. Cos when you run out of fuel you can hoist a sail. Golly I have some jolly good ideas.

Talk to Mr Motu about the bridge - he's been blown off it so often (he claims) he is on personal name terms with half the fish in the Gulf.

I crossed it twice a day for fifteen years. Only got blown over the side once. (Not counting the time I was blown over the side, but the wind changed half way down, and blew me back again. ) .Fortunately, I landed on Mr Motu.
