    Question Dainese Stockist

Anyone out there know where I can getmy hands on Dainese jackets and pants (leather and cordura) in NZ, or failing that a good offshore bike gear website that will deliver to NZ. Cheers.

I got a set from www.dainese.be for a very good price, including free delivery. It took about 2 weeks.

My girlfriend got a set from www.fyldesuperbikes.co.uk - she's track tested them a couple of times and they've been excellent so far!

If you're a bit of an odd size - eg extra tall or fat or something you could have a few problems. My recomendation is to go to www.dainese.com and sign up to the D-club. You can then get in contact with a person who will tell you all about sizing, and what measurement you need.

There are plenty of other internet stores that stock dainese but I have found the two listed above very good. Both went the extra mile.

Try to find some alpinestars leathers in auckland to try on for size. Aparently the Alpinestars and Dainese leathers have similar sizing. I wouln't buy leathers in NZ they are too expensive. Also, say clearly that they are for racing when the customs rep rings you - you will save money on tariffs that way, but you will still have to pay GST.

Any more questions? Post here or PM.

Am currently talking to bikestop.co.uk if anyone is interested, about the dainese gear. Prices seem to have fallen on stock, 'cus at the moment a 2 piece leather suit is coming in at 420 sterling (exVAT), with maybe 50 - 80 pounds of postage on top, NZ$1200 and then the GST on that for the sods at customs, which seems comparable to the alpinestars and spidi stuff i've seen.....Hmmmm.
will have to wait for the final numbers to come, as its to close to call right now (remind anyone of anything familiar)

    What if they don't fit?
What if they develop a fault?

Yeah right. I've seen "standard sizing". Are you referring to Italian standard sizing or American standard sizing or Japanese?
