Either a cheapo batt for 75 bucks, or an expensive BMS equipped Lithium one for ultimate longievity for 300 (why dick around with anything in between?). Might last 2 and 20 years respectively so obviously better to get the later in the long run. But if the rest of the bike is going to the scrappies in 2 years (see, kawasaki), then why not the cheapo? Or if you can invest that 225 savings and get 300 profit in 2 years... or (and this one is most applicable) if your 300 bucks is a whole a weeks income now, but 1/5 of a weeks income in 2 years then which really is 'cheaper' in the long run?
