I'd prefer a Terrier attack. We just need to organise a bunch of old small single cylinder Triumphs

Get with the plot, man. This is a MOTORCYCLE forum. Why on earth would anyone here be talking about anything other than motorcycles?

Yes they took the strike force, and ageing and not-utilisable Strike Force, BUT they have given us two new Passenger Carriers and are relifing all the other planes, Replacing our old Helo's and have given me a number of nice pay rises in the last 4 years...
Believe the huey replacement when you see the NH80 (or whatever) on the line mate. I reckon the replacement will actually turn out to be a new anti coll' light and a paint job. How else is Helen going to pay for the burgeoning intrest free student loan rort.

I've seen some very stupid people fly planes...

Fuckers. I have a PPL and 1/2 a CPL. Had to pay for it myself and gave up in the end as it got too expensive. But now I can get an interest free student loan to finish it off. Plus if I say its part of my original culture labour will pay for me to 'research' my roots in the UK. Brilliant. See y'all.

Alas, the latest reports seem to indicate that he was an instructor having relationship problems. Perhaps that guy in the other thread who needed help dealing with his newly-wifeless sad sack mate really DID screw up in the advice department.

Talk about relationship problems. The other day I saw the doc as after 10 years of shagging the mrs she was gettin a bit, well, loose. The doc said that they could do something to tighten her up a bit, but also mentioned that there was 'another' hole I could use. To which I replied 'what, and risk getting her pregnant!"

I bet you're related, however distantly, to someone somewhere in Liverpool.

The student loans scheme was introduced by the National Government in 1992. Bolger and Shipley were pretty happy with it too!

But not for aviation students... that only came in 1999... now we got hundreds of aviation students with loans between $80 to $120k and very few jobs at the end of it... so they end up doing something else. Aviation is a very messy industry.

Similar thing happened in the Diving industry, but its been reined in now I understand.

The Bums-on-seats funding model wasn't a great idea anywhere in the training/tertiary sectors.
