    akrapovic gsxr thou

Akrapovic Evolution system can be seen from the power curve. The system provides a linear increase throughout almost the entire range, and the greatest increase is at the very top of the range. With the Evolution the rear wheel puts out a huge 170 HP at 12000 rpm. The max. increased power is a healthy 11.4 HP...

    tested on a standard bike!!!

I though new gixxers put out 170 or something standard now?

Well i just checked the system out and sure enough it does what it claims, thats pretty impresive gain these days from a full system, but i dont know, dont like the looks of it, i reckon the stock muffler looks better, maybe if the akro was a high rise system and junked the pillion pegs it'd be the bizzo, but as it is nah.

    Cancel my order thanks

You should check out the Yoshi one for the K5...SOOO sexy!!

Actually it looks kinda like the standard one, but somehow a million times better.

Can't find a pic, sorry...but it was in the last issue of Fast Bikes I bought(with the hilarious '80's Twist of the Wrist DVD)

Nah its not, more upswept following the lines of the tail unit.

You'd expect the Yoshi version to be around the same as the stock can as yoshi designed the stock can for suzuki. The yoshi one would be more me, but the arrow one on the Alstare SBK is pretty cool with the stubby muffler, at the mo though the new K6 600/750 has got to be one of the coolest looking setups about.

My GSXR was the very first Silver put togehter in NZ & after 600k was put on Brian Bernards Dnyo & did 150rwhp flat then 151 rwhp with a Yoshy muffler on it . Brians new bike did 153rwhp . Old owner of my bike has had his K4 Dyno tuned with a Power commander to the bike & 96 fuel to 157RWHP .
