The thing is...you've obviously never ridden a hot rodded Harley. It's that simple. They're really impressive.

And standard ones are not thirsty - 97kph each on our 1200cc and 1450cc bikes for a combined total of just over 13 litres of fuel.

Anything really. If you get the chance to ride a 120R do so. It'll change your perspective totally. Trust me.

...just had to post it again Pete...

...or any Harley at all, I would venture...would be like their first fuck..if they have had one at all...I cant be fucked giving the percentage of SB riders that hold me up, thinking they are going for it...and that's on my Sporty...been racing jappys for so long that having a cool ride within the bounds of semi legality on a non problematic, cool looking, low stressed motor is like a holiday...I wonder if the cool dude wank fuck percentage of sprots that cook their nuts over us, came out and had a race day with us , how they'd go by the end of the day...bit ragged, I reckon...

It appears they don't like it that there are more riders out there all the time on scooters and Harleys than go fast sports bikes. That's how we get threads like this. Something about protesting too much...

A 2 litre, 137hp motor which was quite literally developed at a facility that used to be Briggs and Stratton - yup, that's really got me wanting it!

Compare a hot rodded Harley to a hot rodded sports bike then....

That efficiency comment was more aimed at the old school cars. But I'd imagine a Harley ridden in anger wouldn't sip the gas.... Although neither will a sportsbike.

Just giving a bit of perspective.

Lol. The thing is...most people simply bag the things because of their own insecurities. I mean...a turbo charged GSXR1000 must be a fucking beast of a thing right? And for sure they are. But they only produce the same amount of torque as a 120R Harley engine. (around 121ftlb). A mate of mine has run his 120R equipped Fatbob (all 320kg's of it) down the 1/4 mile @ 10.2. And he's never drag raced in his life. With someone on it that knows what they're doing...you're talking a nine sec 1/4 here. ZX14 territory. Slow? Like fuck!

Ok. GSXR1000 turbo. 120 ftlb torque. 120R equipped Harley = 120ftlb torque. One weighs around 190 kgs and will run a 9 sec 1/4, the other over 300 and will still do so. How's that for a comparrison?

Just out of interest, how many Harleys have you ridden?

And you ride a motorcycle that's made by a company that makes pianos. Sounds legit.

I just don't get people who bag other people's rides.
All good in jest between mates but otherwise I think it could be a case of penis envy.
