    I just figured the GS would have come out with the GSXR motor of the same year. Since it isn't fitted with the big fin motor like the original XR.

    Nah. Tis the early GSF1200 engine with soft cams, small carbs and tame ign. Easy fix though eh! I'll go as big as practical...big cams and flatslides.

    Yeah, that kit needs replacement barrels and case work. Pretty sure 1340 is as big as they get without all that jazz.

    I think that's what Martin Peck was running. I think he had filled a section of the back of the block in with ally prior to installing sleeves.
