I find it interesting that people considered fast, I would probably call out of control.

What I mean is I have observed many of these so called 'fast road riders' and noticed that its all about riding on some stretch of rode where there is light traffic. Often I see them riding at speed around blind bends (common on the port hills down here), cutting up traffic in a foolhardy manner or performing other such maneuvers that would result in injury should the unexpected happen.

A real 'fast rider' would be someone who could get themselves from any point in auckland to anyother point on the other side of the cbd at rush hour without putting themselves or anyone else at even the slightest amount of risk.

I suspect that this applies to the track as well to some degree. But for here I mean the road.
The contents of this post are my opinion and may not be subjected to any form of reality
It means I'm not an authority or a teacher, and may not have any experience so take things with a pinch of salt (a.k.a bullshit) rather than fact
