Not true 2,7. If someone is fast, and are riding fast they are fast not because of natural talent ( although this plays a big part ) they are fast because they push limits and when you push your at risk of comming off your bike.

A good rider to me is someone who can engage brain and body both at the same time. Having the ability to calculate the fastest and safest track through dense traffic that is constantly changing position is a shit load harder that going fast round a corner on an open road. Anyone can do the latter with a bit of effort, but only the best can do the former without injury.

im slow too!! i dont bother going too far over the speed limit, already lost my license once when i had my 400.....Personally i think id rather ride safer for longer.. i have a motocross bike for going ape on. I saw some mad buggers on saturday they looked FAST riders taking off down west road, was it anyone from here , one on a gixxer thou(i think, and the other on a r1 or a cbr1000), one of them was doing a weave in the main st of clevedon, waiting for a car to get out the way leaving clevedon, and heading back towards papakura, then taking the west road, i would have liked to followed and attempted to stay with them, but strangely the mrs cuts of circulation to my lower body when i go over 120-130, so i didnt bother..

was it anyone from here ? saw a few bikers out on saturday round the omana maraetai, beachlands area
