This is why kiwi drivers are shit. They should all be made to learn and drive the first couple of years in a manual so they have to be more in tune with the car and the events going on around them.

Agreed. But surely you don't want to increase your chances of getting caught?

No I don't really to increase my chances of getting caught. But I do want to increase others that endanger my lifes chances of getting caught. and I can't have it both ways. So for the greater good....

Generally most of my "illegal" activity hasn't endangered me (more than just being on a bike). Things like may or may not have used the cycle lanes and cycle spots at the front of traffic ques. And most of my numb nut moments on the open road have been taking corners at the legal road speed (not the corner suggested speed) things like I can't take a 35 at 80

And I fully agree that not all illegal things are wrong, and not all legal things are right either. e.g. not having to wear a helmet if you wear a turban. Or not wearing any gear at all on a scooter except for a tiny helmet.

By having a camera you are increasing the number of cameras on the road and promoting their use for "observation" of other drivers. Therefore you are increasing your chances (and mine) of being caught on camera and reported.

Personally I couldn't care less if they're caught or not. As far as I'm concerned the vast majority of "bad" drivers that do things that could be seen as "endangering my life" are of no consequence to me as I look out for them. If an incident happens and I come out still rubber side down then I'm better off to think that their actions are their problem, not mine.

True. The greater good is served best by removing N'th degree of scrutiny we have today. A world where I can look after myself (while doing harm to noone) without fear of being raked over the coals by someone that know's nothing about me or the way I ride is what I'm talking about.

In case you hadn't noticed I'm definitely an "ambulance at the bottom of the cliff" kind of person. I'd far rather that than a fence at the top that blocks the view.

I'm a fence at the top and ambulance at the bottom kinda person. Because there will be some people (me and you) who will jump the fence and base jump to the bottom in total style and land safely. aaaaaand then there will be others that jump the fence trip and fall and drag someone down to their horrible and gruesome death.

Yes I 100% agree. I became such a better driver after I started riding.

If you can fill in the Hazard Register and file it under your seat, prior to commencing the ride please.

Some people do. They need to build a bridge and get over it.
