    Pessimistic seller?

Hm, genuine mistake or is there something dodgy going on?

    http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/moto...-869273923.htm

It's even written on the bike that it is a Suzuki Across GSX250F, so why would you give it away as a GN250 for 1000 bucks?

I think I'd rather have the GN.

Classified listing remains alive unless you notify trademe a sale is completed. You can relist anytime but you cant change the Listing title. Hes selling a second bike on his original listing to avoid listing fees.

    ^^

Never used to happen when the fees were 'reasonable'. If nothing shows up in your search they now have google ads come up pointing you to other websites too, like they aren't posting good profits or anything...
If they spent some time making sure listings were in the correct fucking category so you don't have to wade through a bunch of tennis shoes looking for a bare motor at least you could say you saw where some of the money was going.

Yes. I was naughty lately. I sold my van to someone that test drove it then shortened my auction and put price up sky high.

I have given them $480 dollars in the last 2 years.
List and success fees on a low value vehicle adds up to 7% commission now. Its a bit steep. One day an alternative site will break through but I think it would take Ebay to come here to take over at this point.

I know what you mean. Did a search for mitre saw, got only hugely over priced ones, for my budget anyway.
Widen the search to all cats and there were dozens of cheapies. Among thousands of unrelated products. Even narrowing it to building and renovation got me hundreds more pieces of mitre footwear than saws. Oh and all the cheapies are gone again.

Stupid phone / Tapatalk, apologies in advance.

You totally destroyed my perfectly fine theory of having found a bike thief

The listing is gone now, though. It suspiciously expired after only 2 days... (or the bike got sold, but I like my theory more )
