Another thing about Chch drivers is that they do not know the purpose for median strips. I pulled out of a side-road into the median strip to wait for a gap (Car A in the image). I freaked out both lanes of traffic causing all traffic to come to a stop and my brother-in-law had conniptions. He thought I was completely in the wrong until we got home and onto the LTSA website. Then he thought, "Well, you should have known that Chch drivers don't understand that rule". Haha.

FWIW over here if you mean Chch then yeah its a bloody mess in town these days... Id hate to try the likes of Auckland where it would have to be ten fold worse, but slower I expect.
    Settle, Petal .........
I can relate to your difficulty with the dots .... that’s understandable
    - but also immaterial since the “there” in my post obviously relates to YOUR location [NZ] ..... you being the thread starter an the one posting the precedence problem an' all?

sorry for the confusion - an thanks for the clarification

    Worse!

BTW. Who'd like periodic licence retesting?
Because that's the only way people will be motivated to learn the road rules.
Otherwise you do your test at 15 and don't do another till 80.

True.... but a lot of people just sit ther looking dumb, IMHO when you see a gap in the traffic..... MERGE (I know.... as you try to merge the traffic speed up in order to block ya out)

I answered all of them can go but agree for sure that I'd throw some caution in the mix. I got one question wrong when I first sat my car learners cos I had the picture where I'm going straight through a roundabout and a car coming from my right is going straight through too. (can't put the picture up cos I don't know how! HELP!) The answer was I can go cos I'll be gone once it gets to me but I don't know about pulling out infront of someone in the same situation in real life!

Thats how I remember it anyway, pretty damn sure. Who knows about these things though? I just checked, I'm older than you! I pictured you as some old southern boozer. Imagined the bike right though. No tassells but, what a shame.

edit. I passed the test and got 100% on my bike test too, what a gay. (Not GHEY! hahahahahahahah)

I should write out 100 times: " I must wear my glasses before looking at thumbnails"

I selected "A & B" on the basis of 3 cars turning into 2 lanes. But of course with 3 lanes ALL 3 cars can go as long as they stay in their marked lane. Any car wishing to change lanes must give way.
