Anybody out there know of a place that could build me a new fuel tank? I am in the closing stages of Chopper build and want a larger volume tank made for my baby. All idea's gratefully received.

Yea there is a Guy in New Plymouth that does them Have seen his work Excellent cost a $1000 dollars Hand made Ally tank . The guy worked for a GP team building complete exhaust system's for their bikes . I'm a welder by Trade with 25y's behind me & I can say this guy's work is Mint . His name is Shaun Raven could get his number if you are keen .

They have all sorts of excesories there mate, they also make a few bikes so you might be able to talk them into doing a tank for you. Either that or find an old tank you like cut it up and keep the bottom and innerds and just shape your own around it.

a grand for fully hand built seems like good value to me... theres a NOS Honda 550 tank on tardme thats $550, so for full custom a grand seems like a bargain, but what do I know?

The HDRS guy is really good, took time to talk to a complete newb even when I wasnt buying....
and its in NZ, cos buying from overseas the shipping will kill you....

Hell mate go for those. Looks like you can get flush fuel caps with them. Fucking wicked those things are. Cleans up the tank so you can paint some really narly stuff on them.
