    nice, i also follow her on facebook,
    our mainstream media do not celebrate our motorsport stars that punch way above their weight when you consider what their European and American counterparts have at their fingertips.
    another rising star to keep an eye on is courtney duncan in the motor cross world

    I met her at the Shiny Side Up thing in Paraparaumu, a really decent spud. I am a big rugby fan but NZ really doesn't do enough to recognise the achievements of those taking part in "smaller" sports. (Look at the difference in coverage between Ritchie McCaw's investiture and Bruce Anstey's) So its brilliant to see Avalon getting a bit of mainstream coverage.
