Turbans instead of helmets?

Heading down Highbrook Drive today with one of my employees heading to visit a client. Was sitting directly behind a cop car when we drove passed an Indian looking gentleman on a motorcycle. Both of us immediately spotted that he was wearing a turban and no helmet, however the cop either didn't notice, or perhaps just didn't care. Surely the law doesn't allow someone to ride around with a turban for head protection?

As long as he was riding on the correct side of the road at the correct speed, it's legal.

Not a big problem in my opionon, personal responsibility and religious freedoms etc.

He probably doesn't want to take a helmet off when he gets to work

Dont blame the cop really no doubt he took the best option,theres a fair chance the guy was a good bloke but there excitable beyond belief and they stink he was probably having an ok day and just thought "let it go no need to ruin it".

Don't confuse Sikhs with dirty old Muslims. Sikhs are badass mofo's and not to be fucked with but they have no desire for world domination and seem quite happy to mind their own business, thank you very much please come again

True, and another part of their religion requires them to carry swords, so some respect will not be misplaced? Just in case.
