89 onwards RGV's are good, 92 (i think) went to the dual mufflers on one side and the banana swing arm, with USD forks, they look fucken hot, but the early ones look the bizzo as well.
With buying one take someone who knows there shit on RGV's, there are some cheap bargins out there, but there are some real lemons, ones that have not been looked after at all, and a lemon will set you back a shitload of coin.
Curious George, Rodders, Fluffy Cat to name a few all know there shit when it comes to 2 strokes and RGV's, drop em a PM sure they'd help out.

    Best of luck mate.

Done. Can't ask questions as it's a sale item not an auction. Emailed the guy asking if he was for real. Also complained to Trademe, pointing out the low value, offer to ship overseas and lose a third of the "take" doing so, new user id, and an msn.com email address whihc usually indicates an inhabitant of the great capitalist continent.

Thanks for that Jimmy. I woke up very, very, grumpy and now some other than the family gets to wear it.

Be wary of NSR's with shagged barrels. It seems spares are not easy to come by and pretty expensive to re-line.
